Talking Turkey
Think of Christmas,
Merry Christmas,
From a turkey's point of view
And you might wish Father Christmas
Had some other job to do!
You would loathe the sound of sleigh bells,
You would hate the sight of holly,
Think of Christmas as a turkey
And you wouldn't be so jolly!
Think of Christmas,
Happy Christmas,
Think of all you're going to eat!
Mincepies, Chocolate logs
The fruit!
The nuts!
The sweets!
Then think of Christmas
From the turkey's point of view,
Instead of singing carols
You get sauce poured over you!
Think of Christmas, Merry Christmas,
The cards, the tree and stockings,
Think of Christmas as a turkey
And it might be rather shocking!
You might not feel so festive
You might think life was tough
If instead of Christmas presents
You got sage n' onion stuffed!
